The Jasti Group has teamed up with The UO Bridge Program, to connect incoming chemistry students with science resources and give them an opportunity to meet current students in research! The recently developed Catalyst (est. 2023) portion of the Bridge Program invites students to participate in three science modules developed by current UO PhD Students. They bring incoming UO freshmen into the lab for hands on learning with Biology Assays, Electrolysis, and Polymer Chemistry!

The Jasti Group has teamed up with The Steppingstone Foundation, Upward Bound, and Science Summer Camp over the years to expose students to science and give them an opportunity to meet scientists. The students learn about science at the interface of organic chemistry and nanotechnology, then have fun making their own nylon, learning about antioxidants with glow sticks, and eating liquid nitrogen ice cream!
